To port or not to port? That is the question.
First. Let me just complain for a second about my remicade infusion today.
1. It took THREE different people and SIX pokes to get an IV started. SIX!!!!! And not just like six regular pokes. They were the pokes where they get the needle in under your skin and start fishing for veins by moving it all around in there. Each one blew which of course is painful. SIX TIMES!

Don't let your disease make you feel ugly.
Times I have felt ugly with this disease are not limited to but include:
*Having a puffy face from steroids.
*My whole entire body breaking out in acne from steroids. And having to face people day to day who have no idea that you are suffering the side-effects of medications because you are sick.
*Being extremely underweight and walking around with my clothes hanging on me like a hanger.

Did you know in some States it's the law that...
This law has not passed in all State’s but you should check out if your State has passed it. I know in Michigan where I live it is now law. You can download a form to have your doctor sign and you can present it to any place that doesn’t have public restrooms and they have to let you use their employee bathroom.
It’s worth checking into!
