It’s my Blogaversary!
I’m baaaaaack!!!
Hello my gorgeous (and handsome) intestinally challenged beauties,
Guess what! INFLAMED & UNTAMED IS ONE YEAR OLD TODAY! Can you believe it? To be honest, it feels like i’ve been doing this a lot longer than just a year. Not in a gosh-this-year-is-dragging-and-this-blog-sucks-the-life-out-of-me kind of way, but rather because SO much has happened in a years time. I am astounded at how far I have come and so today I am going to enjoy it, pat myself on the back, (maybe eat a piece of cake), and really focus on the goals I have for the next year. I have so much I want to accomplish, things I want to do better, and new projects I want to start, so stay tuned for all that good stuff. Last year I started my blog on September the first because that is the day that Hogwarts students board the Hogwarts Express to start school and I was jealous I couldn’t go, so I started a blog. Just kidding! (Maybe). <—-Can you believe you’ve been putting up with a weirdo like me for a year already?
So I guess we could take a trip down memory lane together and go through all
that i’ve done in a year, but that would be fun for…me. So I won’t put you through that. What I can say is that I am refreshed, renewed, and SUPER inspired after my recent break. I suppose you wonder what i’ve been doing and where I went? I would tell you, but that is going to be revealed in future videos and blogs. Here is a preview of things to come - A lot of you have recently voiced an interest on my facebook fan page about dating and relationships. You talked, I listened, and so a future project of mine is to set up something where you can meet others with IBD who are looking to start relationships. Not even just dating but friendships too. I also have an AMAZING group of friends (you met my friends Marisa and Amanda in blogs I posted from them in the past, but there are some other girls I want to introduce you to as well) who are working with me on some things. You have to meet them because they are inspiring, courageous, and extremely relatable. I can’t wait to introduce you to them at some point. I also have some other surprises to reveal to you but I am keeping those to myself right now. ;)
I’m still working on my next video project featuring you guys, and will be catching up on emails and everything else soon. In a few days I am off to Chicago to spend a couple days with Megan (from The Great Bowel Movement) and Amanda Kasper (you can find here). Then we are headed up to Wisconsin for the Get Your Guts in Gear bike ride! Cross your fingers (and toes) for me! I’ll need the luck.
Happy butts and guts,Sara
