Welcome! My name is Sara, and I don’t have a large intestine, but I DO have a large amount of passion for spreading awareness about Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis!

Click the links above to watch my vlogs, see hospital pictures, or read my story which is a good place to start.

Diagnosed with UC: 1996
J pouch surgery step 1: july 18, 2008
J pouch surgery step 2 and adhesion removal: September 10, 2008
Diagnosis changed to crohn’s: June 17, 2011.
Tried too many meds that failed, currently doing remicade infusions and methotrexate injections.

This is my ONLY blog. All others using my story and my pictures are fakers.”

Watch what happens to Clara, a teenager with Crohn’s disease who takes prednisone and Humira, as she has dinner with her family. Her mom thinks it has everything to do with what she eats, her older sister feels like she doesn’t get her parents attention, her dad thinks she is lazy, and her granny thinks it’s because of stress! No one seems to get it but her internet friends who also have IBD. Can you relate to Clara? How so?

The volume and lighting on this sucks. Sorry guys. You will have to turn it up (headphones work the best). Working on getting a new editing program.

Thanks to Jaime for the creative inspiration. We came up with this idea during one of our daily chats.

I had fun making this for you. I’ve been home all week so this gave me something to do. :) If you like what I do please consider donating to my blog. If you look to the top left you will see a +About. Click that and you can donate to my paypal. I bought all the wigs and silly props for this at a value world, but it still adds up.

This video is probably more relatable to my younger viewers like kids and teenagers, but hopefully you can all relate in some way. Hope you like it!!! <3
